It was my first time seeing Jim Jefferies in concert & it certainly won't be my last. It's been a while since I had seen him on TV, and a lot has happened in his life like getting sober, getting married and having another son. Jim was funnier than ever but perhaps a bit more coherent and with equal amounts of wit & wisdom. He performed for 2¼ hours without ever going blank, at a loss for words or having to consult his notepad as I've seen another comedian do. And he was really ON and connected so well with the audience, which was far from a full house. The venue works fine if you're in the orchestra, the balcony is a lost cause; Lyric Baltimore, a former opera house has seen better days. It's in shabby condition from when I last was there, especially compared to the Hippodrome.
